NEWS - Roboalypse™ - Mobile Mayhem

IGN Wireless reviews Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem, scoring the game an 8.8 out of 10 and giving it Editor’s Choice Award. "Robocalypse offers fairly conventional RTS gameplay, but it is a well-oiled machine that plays very well. What is really unique here is the gleefully absurd humor and art style. The daft, irreverent tone is refreshing, and we should hope Lender and Wright have more game scripts up their sleeves. This is a polished RTS that will put a smile on your face. Strategy fans shouldn't let it go by unnoticed."

Three more Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem reviews are available, here are some quotes:

"Robocalypse has amazing stylized animation and a jovial nature, combined with real-time strategy the iDevice hasn't succeeded at before. Quite frankly, it’s a keeper." (Slide To Play rates the game 4 out of 4, a "Must Have")

"Robocalypse has certainly gone beyond my expectations and will remain in the highest of iPhone gaming pedestals for a long damn while." (The App Era)

"The numerous enemies along with the numerous robots to choose from make Robocalypse the king of RTS until another worthy competitor comes and dethrones it." (No DPad says the game is a "Must Have")

Touch Gen reviews Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem, giving the game 4 1/2 out of 5 stars: "Robocalypse is a better than average iPhone RTS, with great graphics, a funny story, and online multiplayer. If you love RTS games there is no reason not to own this one." Read the whole article here.

"Not only does Robocalypse actually make strategy fun but it’s also got such outlandish charm that it’s quite unlike any other game I’ve seen before, certainly on iPhone/iPod," says News Shopper in their review and gives Robocalypse - Mobile Mayhem 8 out of 10. In conclusion they add: "Overall, Robocalypse is a highly polished and enjoyable game. It’s the most fun you can have with fighting robots without assembling your own army of tin servants."

Pocket Gamer gives Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem 8 out of 10 and awards the game with Silver Award! "The nuts and bolts of Robocalypse are solid, even if a few elements need to be greased. It's wholly recommended for the strength of its strategic gameplay, but it also doubles as a handbook for learning new robotic resistance strategies should that water plan fail to pan out."
